Tony was professionally trained in Seattle, Los Angeles & New York, and joins the Pulse co-founder, Curtis, as an Alumni to the Joe Tremaine Scholarship Training Program, training under the amazing talents of Doug Caldwell, Tabitha & Napoleon, Jackie Sleight, Tyce Diorio, Mia Micheals and Joe Tremaine himself.  Tony has danced for NBC/Universal, Disney, Bette Midler, with Patrick Swayze in the movie "Letters from a Killer", and on "The Young and The Restless" on CBS.  Specializing in a blend of Lyrical & Hip Hop, Tony’s choreography has been awarded nationally and is most likely known for its creative concept and direct energy. Some of the professional highlights of his time in art thus far have been Learning Acro/gymnastics from some of gymnastics greatest including Nadia Comeneci on the World Gold Gymnastic Tour which traveled across North America in 1996-1997.  Tony says "The most amazing thing to me always, no matter where I go, is the simple authentic power of an artist...I find this often in the classroom, perhaps it is why I dig teaching so much.  When a person intentionally moves their being to create and express a story, or a feeling or an idea, it is in those moments of art, no matter how amazing the star or how young the talent that the artistry can be found.  Tony comes to the Pulse with gratitude for an extensive career in the Arts.  He is excited to work with all of the talented teachers and awesome students here at the Pulse!  Thanks to Brandon & Curtis for creating such a cool place!

"I am a dancer.

I believe that we learn by practice.

Whether it means to learn to dance by practicing dancing or to learn to live by practicing living....

In each it is the performance of a dedicated precise set of acts, physical or intellectual, from which comes shape of achievement, a sense of one's being, a satisfaction of spirit.

One becomes in some area an athlete of God.”
