Dance Instructor

Lindsay took her first dance class shortly after her first steps.  From the age of 2, she has been an avid dancer, always looking to expand her knowledge.  She trained intensively with Priscilla and Dana’s School of Dance and the Kansas City Ballet of Missouri, where she spent several years on scholarship.  She trained with the Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, where she spent a summer acting and dancing.  Lindsay also has traveled with Royal Management as a model /actress/dancer to compete in IMTA in New York.  The inaugural season of the Kansas City Brigade Arena Football, she was the youngest of the Brigade Girls to grace the field and interview and promotional opportunities.  At the age of 19, she moved to Paris, where she developed a new love of a different kind of dance: swing.  Upon returning to the states, she finished her degree in Anthropology and Linguistics with a concentration in Archaeology at Missouri State University.  While at Missouri State, she started a program called “Dancing: A New Cultural Experience” (or just D.A.N.C.E.) which taught a new type of ballroom-based dance to non-dancers every week and included the cultural background of the selected dance.  She is continuing her education in dance, attending ballroom workshops and private lessons.  Lindsay is overjoyed to be a member of the Pulse family, and sharing her life-long love of the performing arts with families and students!
