Jayna Lucia Badder began dancing at the age of 3 in Michigan, and by 5 decided she was going to be a dancer, teacher and choreographer! She has studied ballet, jazz, contemporary, musical theater, tap, jazz funk, and modern and earned a BFA in Dance from UMKC. After graduation, Jayna moved to New York City as an intern at Broadway Dance Center where her main concentration was contemporary (under the mentorship of SLAM), with a secondary concentration in jazz funk (under the mentorship of Sheryl Murakami). Jayna studied extensively in NYC with Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, Peridance, and City Center, each of which offered something a little different from the others. She has danced with Young Peoples Ballet Theater, Nutcracker with; Milwaukee Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, and Minnesota Ballet, A Chorus Line (where she played Laura, AKA Larry), performed “Battleworks” choreographed by Robert Battle and appears in Glamour Magazine’s 2010 FLASHMOB. Jayna is very excited to be joining the Pulse team and looks forward to the years ahead!
