Brandon grew up in Los Angeles, California, and moved to Kansas City in 2001.  He comes from a family of educators, with his mother, father, and brother all schoolteachers on the west coast.  He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to The Pulse in both business and the performing arts.  Brandon began singing and performing at the age of seven with Karousel Kids, a professional touring children’s group that has been featured in countless theatre productions, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, the Hollywood Bowl, and on several CDs.  This successful and disciplined group helped teach him the joy of live theatre at a young age.  A graduate of The Los Angeles County High School of the Arts, Brandon spent three years with Capital Records recording children’s albums and various film and television soundtracks including Omen IV and Brooklyn Bridge.  Brandon has performed in professional theatres all around Los Angeles, including the Los Angeles premiere of Phantom, Charles Fox's The Chosen directed by Michael Peters, A Place to Call Home with the Los Angeles Opera Company, the title role in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown at the Arena Theatre, and the critically acclaimed The Ballad of Little Mikey.  Brandon has also performed in concert as a soloist with Marni Nixon, Barbara Cook, and Marvin Hamlisch at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. He performed in several productions at Disneyland and was seen on the Bravo channel as a featured singer in the Independent Filmmaker Awards.  Brandon spent two years with Holland America and Costa Cruises touring the world singing in original cruise ship productions.  A two-time Grand Champion at the California State Talent Competition, Brandon wrote and directed Imagination!, which was invited to tour Los Angeles County grade schools. Now Brandon is combining his years in business management with his arts background to bring quality arts education to The Pulse!
