ABOUT THE PULSE PERFORMANCE ARTS CENTER
The Pulse is a full-service dance studio that provides classes for ages 3 to Adult for those students who wish to take class recreationally for fun, for those who wish to pursue professional careers in the arts, as well as for those students interested in competing and performing regionally and nationally at talent competitions. Our regular session runs from September through May with our spectacular annual recital directly following. We also have summer workshops and 6-week dance classes during the summer months.

CURRICULUM
Professional lesson planning is used to teach students in an enjoyable, fun, and positive way. All levels and ages are taught dance terminology, dance technique, and a multitude of dance combinations throughout the year.
QUALITY INSTRUCTION
We hire highly-qualified and caring professionals who understand their role as educators and role models. Our staff teaches students to value and respect each other in a positive environment. Our educators have professional training, degrees in both Education and Dance, and are certified in child development, Pilates and Yoga, CPR, First Aid – all factors that make a big difference in the level of instruction and guidance your child receives.
FACILITY
Our state of the art facility offers many impressive features including live video feeds from the classrooms through closed-circuit monitoring, 15-foot ceilings, 8-foot tall wall to wall mirrors, adjustable ballet barres, theater-style lighting effects, and a centralized digital music library. For our younger classes, we have a large inventory of developmental teaching tools to assist in the educational process. Viewing windows as well as Watch Weeks throughout the year provide parents additional opportunities to watch their children in class. Most importantly, our dance studios all have StageStep professional flooring, a raised and sprung floor that helps to absorb shock, reducing the pressure on dancers' joints and helping to prevent injury.
